CHRONIFER LABOR 17% is a stainless steel with 17% Cr. This half ferritic free cutting stainless steel resists to water and steam corrosion and also mild alkalinity media. (AISI 430F Stainless Steel WS 1.4104)

Standard Tolerances
Diameter h7, h8 (4.00, 6.00 and 10.00 in tol h6)
Out of roundness/eccentricity: 1/2 of dia tolerance
Tolerance in length 30mm

Heat Treatment
Soft annealing 800-850 ºC
slow furnace cooling (2-4 hours)
Hardening: 1000-1050 ºC
Max obtainable hardness:40 HRC

Cutting rate
50-60m/min (approximate value, depending on the lubrication oil, the cutting tools, the shape of parts)

Stock Range
Ø 1.00 to 30.00mm round full bars (1.60mm in coil) in stock, other dimension available on request.
