LABOR Pb material is a hardenable, unalloyed free cutting steel which is manufactured in Rod, Bar and coil. (WS 1.0759 Steel - Free Cutting - Unalloyed). For all stock and size availability contact Sales.

Available in 3 or 2 mtr bars or in coil for Escomatic machines

Heat Treatment
810-830ºC hardening in oil for Ø<5mm
790-810ºC hardening in oil for Ø<5mm
660-700ºC soft annealing

Max obtainable hardness
63-65 HRC 9 for parts with high hardness.

Cutting Rate
60 to 80m/min dependant on lubrication oil, the cutting tool and the shape of the parts

Tolerance
h8, more accurate tolerances available on request.
