Welding Alloy 5556A is an Aluminium Alloy containing 5.3% Magnesium and 0.8% Manganese. The elements are controlled closely to enable optimum weld strength. Alloy 5556A has a higher strength weld metal than standard 5% Mg in Alloy 5356. Alloy 5556A is an aluminium filler that has good ductility and improved crack resistance.
