Alloy 92 (AMS 5675) is a nickel base alloy which was designed especially for gas tungsten arc and gas metal arc welding of dissimilar combinations of high nickel alloys and austenitic and ferritic steels.
Used on | FM 92 is used for dissimilar metal welding of austenitic and ferritic stainless alloys to each other and to high nickel alloys. Applications include Ni200 and M60 and M67 to stainless steels and joining stainless steels to carbon steels. Use argon gas shielding and ultra clean conditions for welding |
