Alloy 67 is used for oxyacetylene and gas-tungsten-arc welding of Monel® alloy 450. This alloy used for welding on 70/30, 80/20 and 90/10 copper-nickel alloys. The weld metal of this filler metal has excellent resistance to corrosion in sea water, and is widely used for marine and desalination applications. Dissimilar welding applications for Alloy 67 are joints between Monel® alloys or Nickel 200 and copper-nickel alloys.
