| We offer the manufacture of seamless pipe for the processing industries where critical services require both mechanical performance and corrosion prevention.The pipe is heat treated in bright annealing furnaces. We export worldwide and our main applications are for condensers, pressure containers, instrumentation, etc. Apart from austenitic stainless steel pipe Aircraft Materials is able to offer the manufacture of ferritic and duplex stainless pipe. We consider flexibility to be an important delivery feature. Small or large quantities can be supplied on a quick delivery schedule. | |
| We are able to offer the manufacture of Zirconium tubes and Zirconium alloy tubes. Zirconium alloys have 95.5% to 99.2% Zirconium with a maximum Hafnium content of 4.5%. These alloys feature excellent resistance to corrosion. Zr702 is commercially pure Zirconium and Zr705 is alloyed Zirconium with Niobium to increase tensile and yield strength. | |
| We are able to offer the manufacture of Alloy 800 and Alloy 690 tubes to the highest international technical standards and requirements.In addition, we also have the ability to bend nickel alloy tubes up to 35mtrs long for nuclear steam generators.These tubes have tight dimensional uniformity, internal and external roughness control and extremely low noise level (high signal/noise ratio). They are cold rolled and annealed in a bright annealing controlled environment.Alloy 800 pipes can be delivered stress relieved and air cooled or quickly cooled in a controlled environment. Alloy 690 tubes are delivered under bright annealed condition and final vacuum heat treatment for stress relief and carbide precipitation. | |
